Kindergarten celebrated fire safety week with a visit from the local fire department. We got to see fire trucks, learn about how to stay safe at home, and spray the hose! 🚒

On November 5th, our community will vote on two proposed capital referendum questions for the School District of Sheboygan Falls. If the first is approved, the District would add a four-year-old kindergarten and childcare space at the Elementary School, expanding our wraparound care for 4K students. Our proposed childcare expansion would repurpose classroom space currently used by the YMCA for additional classes, moving the YMCA program into the new space. With more classroom space available for teaching, we can keep our class sizes low and offer childcare to families who need it. The Board of Education believes there is a serious need to address the availability of childcare. By including the new childcare space at our Elementary School, we can provide an overlap of services for students, enable students and families to gain a familiarity with SDSF from an early age, and continue to attract and retain high-quality teachers and staff. It's Fire Prevention Week!!!! Join the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department at its annual Fire Prevention Night at the Sheboygan County Airport tonight. This is a great night of education for families to learn more about fire prevention!

Little Falcons play group takes flight this Friday, October 11th, at the Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library after their story time!

First grade students experienced a fun and engaging way to practice following directions! In school counseling class, first graders learned so much about why it is important to follow directions in life. Then they ended the lesson drawing a silly monster with a roll the die activity. Depending on the number rolled, students were to add a part of the body to the silly monster. Here students are sharing their drawings with each other.

5K learning all about farming and apples at Nourish! We enjoyed working in the garden, learning that foods come from all over the world, planting seeds, and making an apple treat! 🍎🍎🍎

From Mrs. Bennin: Yesterday my class filled their reward jar with the final star of 26. They received stars when an adult in the building gave them a compliment for something. So very proud of them for working together as a team and completing this first task so quickly.

National Custodian Day is celebrated on October 2nd each year to recognize custodians who keep facilities clean and safe, THANK YOU to our SDSF Custodial team! Each and every day they graciously ensure our schools are safe and clean.
