Start Them on A Successful Educational Journey

Sheboygan Falls Elementary School is full of exciting learning opportunities for children in 4-year-old kindergarten through grade 4. Each child should feel welcome, safe, and challenged to do his/her very best. All learners will find support within their elementary classroom “community.”  This includes options for advanced learners and for students who are working to close a specific gap. We take a focused approach, seeking to know every child to help all students grow each year.

Our elementary classroom communities allow all students to share their talents and work along side a diverse group of learners.  While students do the hard work of developing strong academic skills, students also learn respectful communication, collaborative problem solving, and how to build healthy relationships.

An excellent education depends upon an excellent staff. The Sheboygan Falls Elementary School staff focus on the whole child.  Continual professional development supports our caring and knowledgeable staff so that they can offer the best to our students.  Examples of staff’s focus areas include:

  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL) practices that proactively reduce barriers to learning;

  • Best practices in teaching and learning for all academic areas with an emphasis on literacy and math.

  • Social-emotional learning and mindfulness techniques.

In addition to the core academic instruction, students have art, physical education, music, classroom guidance, and a library lesson with book check out.  We are a school community: A place to learn, a place to feel safe, and a place to explore and build strong academic skills. Come join us!
