The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Team is the Official Sports Medicine Provider at Sheboygan Falls High School

Sheboygan Falls High School is proud to partner with the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network to provide our athletes with a licensed athletic trainer.

Our school’s athletic trainer is David Gonzalez. David is from Miami, FL. He graduated from Concordia University of Wisconsin in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic training. Shortly after graduating, David started working at Sheboygan Falls High School in November 2015. David is a certified Skinfold specialist, a Functional Movement Screening specialist, pitching analyst and has been coaching kickers and punters for 8 years. David joined the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine team in August 2023.

The sports medicine team provides prevention, evaluation and treatment of injuries for our athletic teams. The athletic trainer is onsite after school Monday-Friday in the athletic training facility, as well as at home athletic events.

If an athlete needs a physician referral for further evaluation and diagnosis, an appointment can be set up at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin within 24 to 48 hours.

Parents may contact a Froedtert & MCW licensed athletic trainer through the Healthy Roster app on your phone. Healthy Roster is a mobile app/website program connecting Sheboygan Falls High School parents and coaches with athletic trainers from Froedtert & MCW at no cost to you. When your child is injured playing sports, help is one tap away! To get started using Healthy Roster, look for an e-mail invitation from Healthy Roster. You will need to accept it to access your child’s account. If you do not receive an invitation, please contact your Froedtert & MCW licensed athletic trainer.
